$4.5M grant to fund Deaverview Mountain land purchase

Buncombe County Commissioners next week will consider setting aside nearly $7.7 million of bond funds toward 347 acres of open space, with trails and scenic overlooks at Deaverview Mountain.

Buncombe County plans new public park and outdoor amenities in partnership with Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy
