St. Vincent De Paul Society – 4/29/2024

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SVdP) – St. Margaret Mary Conference in Swannanoa, is devoted to feeding, clothing, housing, and healing individuals and families.  They do so much more than just financial assistance.  They give hope and assurance that others care, when things seem very dark. By helping with love and respect, they show people that they matter and they are children of God.  Last year the number of families SVdP helped has almost doubled. These are our neighbors in East Asheville and the Swannanoa Valley.

In 2023 they helped 260 families with things like

  Rent

Power

Water

Medical bills

Car repair/gas

Home repair

Gift cards

Bus tickets
