NCDOT to close Grant Mountain, Bearwallow roads starting Sept. 8

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Two Henderson County roads will close daily beginning next week as crews make repairs, according to the sheriff’s office.

The North Carolina Department of Transportation said Grant Mountain Road and Bearwallow Road will be shut down from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day starting Monday, Sept. 8.

The closures will remain in effect until further notice. Updates will be shared on the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office social media pages, officials said.
