ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Marquee Asheville, a massive artist market in the River Arts District, celebrated its grand reopening after Hurricane Helene in September. Later this month, Marquee will host its first major event since reopening its doors, inviting the community to don their Halloween best for a Marquee Masquerade.

The 3rd annual Marquee Masquerade, “Good vs. Evil,” will be held from 6 to 9 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 30 at Marquee, 36 Foundy St.

Guests are encouraged to RSVP for the free, family-friendly event at www.eventbrite.com/e/marquee-masquerade-returns-tickets-1735057546829.

Unmasking the masquerade

The Marquee Masquerade will feature music from a local DJ, live performance art and refreshments, as well as access to the dozens of artist booths that call Marquee home. A costume contest will offer a prize to the participant with the “most creative look,” according to a Marquee press release.

Even if your costume doesn’t take home the grand prize, masquerade participants won’t leave empty-handed. Every guest will receive their very own take-home pumpkin at the event.
