Hendersonville mountain music festival rambles to town

HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Later this month, The Winter Ramble, a traditional Appalachian mountain music festival, will be held at venues across Henderson County. Several performances will be free to attend.

The Winter Ramble will run from Feb. 27 to March 1 at 11 different Henderson County venues, including breweries, vineyards and a cinema.

Who will be playing in The Winter Ramble

The music festival is designed for “celebrating Appalachian culture and heritage,” according to The Winter Ramble website.

24 different bands or musicians will bring Appalachia to life through bluegrass, old-time, folk, rock and the blues. The lineup includes:
