Boos, brews, bar crawls: Halloween-themed bar crawls in Asheville

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — As Halloween comes closer, celebrate spooky season in true Beer City fashion. There are two bar crawls on tap for this weekend and next in downtown Asheville.

Boos & Booze Halloween Bar Crawl

4-10 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 25

This weekend, Bar Crawl USA will run their Boos & Booze bar crawl at seven bars across downtown Asheville, including:

  • Daddy Mac’s Down Home Dive
  • Banks Ave. Bar
  • Tiki Easy / Hi-wire brewing
  • Jack of the Wood
  • Claddagh Irish Pub
  • The Draftsman Bar & Lounge
  • The One Stop at Asheville Music Hall

Tickets include two complimentary shots, $5 additional shots, $4 beers and $6 specialty cocktails at participating bars, as well as entry into the official after party.

Costumes are heavily encouraged, with a professional photographer on the scene to capture the best looks of the night. A best-dressed costume contest will also reward those in their finest Halloween threads with prizes.

The Halloween Bar Crawl

4 p.m. to midnight, Friday, Oct. 31 and Saturday, Nov. 1

On Halloweekend itself, Crawl with US will host two days of bar crawling thrills at nine bars around the South Slope and beyond, including:

  • Banks Ave.
  • Daddy Mac’s
  • Dalton Distillery
  • Green Man Brewery
  • Hi-Wire Brewing
  • One World Brewing
  • The One Stop
  • The Tiki Easy Bar

Tickets include two to three drinks or shots, no cover at bars or parties, a special Crawl with US stadium cup and bottle opener and vouchers, specials and other bonus deals at participating bars.

A mid-crawl party will be held from 7-9 p.m. at Daddy Mac’s, followed by an after party from 9 p.m. to midnight at The One Stop on Friday and Banks Ave. on Saturday.
