ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — The Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing man last seen in downtown Asheville.

Detectives said Steven McLaren, who is from the Asheville area, was last seen Aug. 21. Authorities released his photo Friday and urged anyone with information to call the Sheriff’s Office at 828-250-6670.

No additional details were immediately available.
