HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) —

Traffic is flowing again on Interstate 26 in Hendersonville after an early morning traffic accident kept westbound lanes closed near mile marker 49 following an early morning crash, the North Carolina Department of Transportation reported.

According to NCDOT, the closure began at 5:12 a.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2024, after a motor vehicle accident, and traffic was detoured at Four Seasons Boulevard, Exit 49B, through the morning rush hour.

The incident was cleared late-morning, NCDOT reported through its driveNC.gov site.
