HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Two Henderson County men were found dead from gunshot wounds at their home off of Chestnut Stump Road, the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office said.
According to the HCSO, patrol deputies arrived at the residence in the early morning hours of Aug. 24, 2026, after receiving a call for service about an unresponsive person lying in the yard.
Deputies discovered two deceased people, Sergio Reyes Ramos, 29, and Jose Danillo Martinez, 20, who lived at the residence. HCSO Criminal Investigations Division detectives determined both men died from a gunshot wound.
“There is no threat to the public,” the HCSO said. “The investigation remains pending, and no further information will be released at this time.”
