How to Win

Starting at 12:01 on February 16, 2026 through 11:59pm on March 1, 2026, 105.9 The Mountain will conduct the SOCON Best Seats in the House Contest. Listeners can complete a register to win form at www.1059themountain.com to register to win the SOCON Best Seats in the House Contest Grand Prize which includes Two (2) new recliner seats from Penland’s Furniture and a pair of tickets to the SOCON men’s basketball championship game at Harrah’s Cherokee Event Center on Monday, March 9, 2026. Total retail value of Grand Prize is at or about $1299.

All eligible registrations from every day in the contest will be entered in the Grand Prize Drawing. The Grand Prize winner will be selected via a random drawing by a representative from Asheville Media Group on Monday, March 2, 2026 and notified of their win and prize claim process by 5pm on Monday, March 2, 2026.

The winner will pick up SoCon Championship tickets at Asheville Media Group located at 1190 Patton Avenue, Asheville, NC 28806. Prize pick up hours are Monday – Friday, Noon – 4pm. The winning tickets will give the winner access to the Arena for the Championship game on Monday, March 9, 2026. The winner and their guest will be able to sit courtside for the duration of the game in the SOCON Best Seats in the House provided by Penland’s Furniture Recliners. Recliners will be available for the winner to pick up at the Arena on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. The winner is responsible for picking up and transferring their recliners from the Arena.

One entry per person per day for duration of contest. Submitting more than one entry per person per duration of contest will invalidate all entries by that contestant. Any entries submitted on behalf of another individual or using another person’s email address or name will be disqualified and ineligible to claim any prize. Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than the stated number of entries allowed by using same, multiple/different email addresses, identities, or any other methods void that participant’s entries and that participant may be disqualified. In the event of a dispute as to any on-line registration, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address used to register will be deemed to be the registrant and he/she must be eligible according to these Official Rules. No mechanically reproduced or automated entries permitted. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification and all such entries will be deemed void.

WTMT 105.9 The Mountain contests are open to all eligible participants who are legal residents of the United States as determined by the Company, aged 21 or older, and who have not won anything from WTMT, WISE or 828newsNOW in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.

No purchase necessary. Asheville Media Group’s sole responsibility will be to award the prize. Asheville Media Group will have no further responsibility in connection with the prize if the prize winner, for any reason, cannot or decides not to use any of the prizes. Winners will be responsible for all federal and state taxes, and any fees and incidentals. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash.

Sweepstakes Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING. This Sweepstakes is governed exclusively by the laws of the United States. You are not authorized to participate in the Sweepstakes if you are not located within the 50 United States or the District of Columbia. Void where prohibited.

Eligibility and Limitations: Participants and winner(s) must be at least 18-years old and a legal resident of the United States as determined by the Company. Previous winners, employees of the Company, this Sweepstakes’ participating Sponsors and their advertising agencies, and members of the immediate family of any such persons are not eligible to participate and win.

Drawing: Winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received on the specified day of each event unless otherwise specified on the entry page. All decisions are final and binding in matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Drawing may be done through an electronic script that will randomly select the winner by using a computer script designed to select a random entry or entries. Potential winners will be notified by email or mail within one day of the drawing date.
