Beginning Thursday, September 9, 2026 and ending February 11, 2027,105.9 The Mountain will conduct the NFL Picks Contest and give listeners the chance to win a weekly NFL Picks Prize Pack which includes:
Regular season win of $100 D.C. Creasman Jewelers Gift Certificate and $50 Asheville Deal. Retail value of prize is $150
During the Playoffs, entrants will have the chance to win a $200 D.C. Creasman Jewelers Gift Certificate and $50 Asheville Deal. Retail value of prize is $250.
For the SuperBowl, entrants can win a $400 D.C. Creasman Jewelers Gift Certificate and $50 Asheville deal. Retail value of prize is $450.
Listeners must listen to the 105.9 The Mountain afternoon show with Jeff between 3-7pm Eastern each Thursday during the NFL season to hear the NFL Picks of the week from D.C. Creasman and Jeff. Once NFL Picks are announced, entrant must visit the 105.9 The Mountain Facebook Page and comment on the NFL Picks Post of the Week to select the host whose picks they believe will be correct for the NFL games of the week. Entrants can register once per week.
After the completion of the NFL Games of the week, all eligible social media comment entrants who have chosen the host with the greatest number of correct picks from that week’s NFL games will be part of a random drawing by a representative of 105.9 The Mountain. Winner will be announced on 105.9 The Mountain’s afternoon show with Jeff between 3-7pM on the first weekday following the completion of the NFL Game of the week. Winner will also receive an email from 105.9 The Mountain confirming their win.
All prizes will be mailed to winners within 10 business days of the announcement of the win on 105-9 The Mountain. Winner must provide a complete and accurate mailing address. 105-9 The Mountain, Asheville Media Group and Saga Communications are not responsible for prizes that are lost, stolen, damaged, delayed, misdirected or returned as undeliverable. Lost, stolen or misdelivered prizes will not be replaced.
Any entry submitted on behalf of another individual or using another person’s email, name or contact information will be disqualified and ineligible to claim any prize. Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than the stated number of entries allowed by using same, multiple/different social media accounts, identities, or any other methods void that participant’s entries and that participant may be disqualified. In the event of a dispute as to any on-line registration, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address used to register will be deemed to be the registrant and he/she must be eligible according to these Official Rules. No mechanically reproduced or automated entries permitted. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification and all such entries will be deemed void.
The 105.9 The Mountain NFL Picks Contest is open to all eligible residents, age eighteen (18) years or older at the time of entry, living within 75 miles of the station transmitter(s) who have not won anything on 105.9 The Mountain in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one qualifier is permitted per household and only one winner per household within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named. Employees of 105.9 The Mountain, Asheville Radio Group, Saga Communications of North Carolina, L.L.C., and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one-hundred-mile radius of the (station) main studio are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.
